Judy, not wanting to go back upstairs without Jack, tries to convince him to oblige and all the while Jackhammers away at the wall, getting more and more agitated until he bursts, smashing the table behind him and shouting at Judy before storming upstairs.
The two meet with Helen and Jack goes over their plans for the trip, meanwhile, Judy sits silently. Helen asks Jack to get her more tea and, after he leaves, questions Judy about the yelling she heard. Judy reveals Jack's abuse towards her and Helen is appalled, she tries to help them pack to stay around Judy but is forced out of the house by Jack, who drags Judy into the basement, furious.
